Managing Director
Harjit Samra is the Managing Director and Founder of BBS Finance Group.
After starting his banking career at Lloyds Banking Group in 2005, Harjit worked in the Real Estate Team for 14 years covering the Central England region. After a successful career at Lloyds Bank, Harjit joined Aldermore Bank in 2019 and where he was a core part of the specialist Commercial Real Estate Team that grew its loan book over £1.2bn. In November 2022, Harjit founded BBS Finance Group.
Harjit’s specialism is in Real Estate Finance and structuring debt transactions typically between £100k – £25m. With a loyal and longstanding client base spanning the UK, Harjit prides himself on working closely with them to make a real difference and help them achieve their ambitions. Many of his first-time property investors have become HNW clients and professional landlords.
Much of his time is dedicated to driving the firm forward but he still enjoys being hands on and gets the same thrill from structuring transactions, providing advice and making a positive impact. Harjit is a keen industry spokesman and is often seen at Property and Business Events in the Midlands area offering insight, guidance and campaigning for the greater good within the sector.
Compliance Manager
Sara spent 13 years within Barclays Bank, predominantly within the SME Commercial sector. After such an extensive period within one organisation, Sara was keen to take on a new challenge and readily accepted the opportunity to join us as a Compliance Manager.
Her combination of experience across risk, compliance and change delivery makes her ideally positioned to proactively support our business in the changing regulatory landscape.
Business Support Manager
Catherine is a postgraduate from the University of Birmingham with 4 years of Commercial Banking experience at NatWest Bank. Catherine’s role is to support Harjit and Sara with new deals and new enquiries.
Catherine is developing her client base and has ambitions to become a Business Development Director at the firm. Catherine is fluent in Mandarin, French and German.
